May all Beings be Intoxicated

For the last half of this term, as intra-relational explorers, we are looking at the practice of sitting. So simple and yet challenging for many, including myself. There is no one right way to sit, hence we are exploring lots of different postures, paying attention to our most supportive anchor(s) which signal louder than any of the sensations, images, feelings and thoughts that preoccupy us as we sit. Allowing, holding no judgement, and resisting attachment.

The things I readily comprehend I usually connect with through my body, as such the embodied practices I share in my groups are simple concepts that are simply transmitted. This is the sum of Radical Heart.

This visual poem woke me up the morning after a recent circle, and the turn at the end is the practice I live to learn to teach. This is the why of sitting for me: to surrender // to pour into life // into this happening.

May all Beings be Intoxicated

Read mindfully. Release all tension in the neck as you follow the snaking words! Below, I leave you with a bonus - a not-quite koan to go along with this playful poem :)
